Reisgids Corralejo

Er is een supermarkt om de hoek. Verder zijn er niet zoveel mogelijkheden rondom het huis. Je hebt echt een auto nodig of je moet gaan bussen. Wel een eiland om te bezoeken.

De afstand naar de winkels is een hele tippel, met de fiets is het goed te doen. Het appartement is het meest geschikt voor paren die goed te been zijn, je moet namelijk een trap op.

Corralejo is a nice tourist town in the North of Fuerteventura. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, clubs, supermakets etc. and the prices in most places are pretty good as well. We have seen a lot of other towns on the island and we all were very happy to be in Corralejo. The big beach (Flagbeach) is right next to the town and there are more than enough other things to do around the town.
Given that most of the places in Corralejo are directed towards english tourism, you don't have to speak any Spanish at all (although it helps in some cases).

Another tip I may share is, when you rent a car, check the policies very good. We have had some trouble with our car and had to pay a large amount of money, altough we thought it would all be covered by the insurance (We rented a car at Orlando Rent a Car. Pretty cheap for pretty nice cars, but when you have any trouble you are screwed! I would never rent a car at that place again. Very long waiting times and VERY POOR service, so be warned!).
