Lecciotondo is a small farmhouse, situated in the village of Monsanto, halfway from Florence and Siena, typical spot for the sweetness and beauty of Chianti hills, this area is famous worldwide for it’s oenological and viticulture attitude. For the the outdoor activity lovers this is the perfect area to make mountain bike excursions, trekking and jogging.

The farmhouse is sitting not only in a perfect agricultural and rural environment, but also above all in a strategic location where is possible to reach easily the famous tuscan artistic towns and their interesting spots, like Florence, San Gimignano, Siena and Volterra.
Close to the farmhouse you can discover the Church of San Ruffignano a Monsanto, proto Romanic example among the oldest Chianti and the castle of Paneretta, an elegant fortress of the XVth century with corner towers and central keep.
Cypresses and holm forest, vineyard and olive, offers at guests the possibility of a holiday in totally quiet in a characteristic and unspoilt environment.

The property is comprised of two apartments that were in the past farm stables and were skillfully restructured and adapted to modern comfort standards, tastefully decorated while respecting the original architectural style.

The guests who spend holidays at Lecciotondo have the possibility of enjoying an authentic feeling with the natural environment of Tuscany.

Fontani’s family with his warm hospitality will offer to the guests Chianti wine and Olive Oil that have been produced since 1920 respecting and preserving all the local traditions. For the guests there is a vegetable garden that give the possibility to pick up aromatic herbs and seasonal vegetables.
